Canon PS50

I have to admit to having used a Canon - the PS50 was a really nice little camera and the photo below has been beautifully rendered IMO, by this camera - what do you think?

Looks like a brick wall! :roll: Just kidding. :)

In terms of colour saturation and contrast it's great, but with that scene it's difficult to tell much about image sharpness.

Chris, I agree the point and shoot has done a great job with this shot. My daughter has got some photos on her wall taken by a friend with a point and shoot on a wilderness walk in Tasmania. They are excellent shots, really well composed and technically very good (like the one you posted). When I asked her how her friend got such good results she told me she works as a part time photographers assistant. Clearly she had learned some good skills. So, like with your shot, it was the skill of the operator that was most important, not the camera.

Having said that I think I'll go play with my d200 :)
