That isn't fog, that's atmosphere!
I like the first one. Is that the butchering tree? Looks like a rope on the branch to lift the beast for butchering. It needs either the beast on the rope or the rope gone as I find the rope slightly distracting. A misty beastie in the background would be nice, but overall, nice soft (but sharp ) images. Thank you.

I like both of these, Actually I don't find the rope distracting at all. With the absence of any other point of interest, the eye naturally comes to rest there and it makes you think of what it may have been used for. If anything I would have liked to see it a little more prominent by using a wider angle lens and getting closer to it.

Thanks everyone for your kind comments - could've knocked me over with a feather when I was hoping for a beautiful sunrise and got fog :) The second shot was taken with my very old very second hand Tokina 12m wide angle lens -very manual, and I've never taken a good shot with it. Was going to get rid of it, and thought I'd have one more try - this was it .....
think i might keep it ;)

I really like that second shot Rel. Lovely country colours in it and nice capture of the fog too.
