I shot a Kiwi in my back garden

I found this critter foraging around my back garden. And i thought they were native to New Zealand. perhaps this one escape from a Zoo or someone's luggage.
Should i call AQIS or RSPCA???

Those are socks. It must be a South Island Brown.
My wife regularly almost shoots a Kiwi (me).

LOL, adopt it as your pet. Take it everywhere and make every frame you shoot featured in it somewhere.

hehe - we started doing this once - My wife had a stuffed elephant - we have pics of it enjoying the boiling mudpools in Rotorua (NZ).

It's on the west coast of the South Island of Un Zud. The Wife and I did a two week motorcycling tour of the South Island in 2002. The photo ops were fantastic. We stole a small rubber pig from a mate and it featured in many of our photos.

If you sneak up to it from behind & give it a real hard kick in the butt you will make an instant moccasin out of it, then all you have to do is find another to get a pair
