Hot or Not?

i shot this fashion show in JPEG as usual
and it's the first time i have experienced harsh highlights with a overbearing reddish cast, colour balance set to 3000 Kelvin, no flash the spot was halogen

close to original tone, shooting at 1/400, dark image but the highlights are so bright they are blown, guess theres no way to have compensated
Image

these ones i fixed i de-saturated the red channel abit, lightened it up, but now there are pink tones, is it possible to fix this?
Image

this one is less desaturated and slightly darker
Image

so are they hot or not?
talking about the highlights, not the girls

Wendell,

Great images. I would not change much. If you want to try and remove casts, I'd go into LAB and play with "a" and "b" chanels to taste.

Wendell - I think these are the first shots of yours I haven't liked :( Yes there are hot spots, but for some obsure reason, they work with the shot .. but the harsh shadows, and the wind causing the girls to close their eyes must make it bloody hard to get a good shot !!

Great shots . The colour in the second one looks nice .Better than the the other two . Comp wise i like the first two .

These are very powerful pictures and well photographed. I love the tight composition and POV. What bar do you drink in?

Blown highlights are so under-rated!
