Love the first one, love the last one. Not too keen on the second one, but of course that's just my opinion.

THe first one shows an interesting balance between subject and background and an attempt to join the two as a whole image. I might have made the surfer a bit bigger in the image, but it is still excellent anyway.

Thanks for sharing the pics with us.

Keep 'em coming :)

I really like 1 and 3 too. Mind you looking at that surf ... it was hardly worth paddling out - looks pretty small and choppy.

back the the photography... 1 is a classic look and I think you have captured it well. Only thing that may have helped is a bit more forground ... perhaps including the surfers reflexion..... and a little less sky.

No.3 - looks great in B&W - doubt it would have looked half as good in colour - good choice for conversion.

Cheers,

I’ll go with Killa on this Nexxus - BTW did you get any of the nightshots that makes Surfers so interesting?

I agree with Craig, the reflection of the surfer would have made this great shot brilliant.

Let's make that a resounding 3 votes for more of the reflection......to me the surfer looks sort of ...well...cut off.

Otherwise I love the shot.

Loved the 3rd one Black and White seems to capture the moment better than colour.
