Yes,
Still have to stitch it together
The terminal face is umm, about 300m across...
those bits of ice are real big

fine day? Fine 15 minutes is more like it... I posted a thread about gear testing extreeme style some time ago... we had 340mm of rain in just under 30 hours...

Wow, look at the scale of that thing!!! The first shot, was that a polarised sky? (I forgot how naturally blue NZ's skies are).

no, natural blue...
when they are not white or grey with cloud they have a very nice blue colour

I did the walk up and down the glacier back in the late seventies. The guide said, - "if you slip and start down the ice, you will probably die. That's why you need to sign this form."

MHD great shots mate it is very decieving tho, and well since you did say they are big, uhmm!! look out for the avalanch and yes i would hate to be hit by one of them. Hope you enjoyed your trip.

The scale is deceiving, didn't realise that it was so big until you showed the photo with the people in it.

When I saw the first pic I thought nice image, then when I saw the one with the tour group, I thought wow..... Hard to gain a real sense of the sheer size of the ice until something's in teh frame that I can relate to...
That would have been an awe inspring tour... Would love to experience that...
