I'd finished my allocated shots for the hunt and shoot - and was on the way to our meeting point .... This gentleman is a busking icon in Brisbane - he has been playing his saxs in the Brisbane mall for as long as I can remember ..... he is totally blind, and until 6 months ago, used to bring his seeing eye dog to 'work' with him. Unfortunately, Graham (the gentleman) was hit by a car 6 months ago..... the dog was unharmed, however has now retired.

*and yes, I asked before I took his photo

Nice photo Rel.
I didn't see him today but will be sure to look out for him next time I'm up there.
Would have loved to hear him play.

Thank you :)

Have spoken to Graham a couple of times in the past - he's a cheeky bugger ;), but such an absolute sweetheart. The dog has gone to another home with a 'Jack Daniels' (Graham's term for a jack russell), and Graham is currently waiting for a replacement dog. (his old dog is now 12, and had officially reached retirement age).

If anyone is ever in the Brisbane mall - Graham can usually be found sitting just down from the Myer entrance on the mall, between Hungry Jacks and the Myer centre.

He's up near the entrance to the Myer Centre, Wendell. Head uphill in the Mall from the Hilton. Just past Hungry Jacks is where Graham normally sits.
