Hi all...

borrowed a fish eye (thanks G) I am going to get as many photos as I can before I have to return it...

took over 100 yesterday and here is one of my fav's so far...bit different but what do you think

but i think in this instance you could of used a flash to light the blossom a little

wendellt I shot this in raw...on the whole I am new to both the DSLR & PP world...other than driving back up there is there anyway to correct this photo?
I only just brought my SB-600 and for some reason always forget to pull it out and put it on...still trying to get the feel of when to use it and when not to

Even the built-in flash would have helped this along, but how did you shoot this? In Raw?


Load the image into NCE or PS, and have a play with the curves and see what sort of changes that will make to this image.

It lacks punch to me, and I think that a simple curves adjustment will help it greatly in that regard.

Gary...due to my mmmm lack of knowledge with flash, and exposure settings i have found it a must to shot in raw! I have a stack of CF cards so I dont worry about how much space I need for one photo...
As I am neither that great on PP (boy I sound lame ) I find it much easier to fix my "stuff ups" if I am in raw. I haven't have much of a play with curves before, so tonight I think I will see what I can do...thanks for the advise..........

VK4CP...I am thinking that I might go back up there and have a go at redoing this with the fill in flash and using my SB-600...I will also have a go at getting abit more closer to see how that looks as well...the FE lens sure is different to anything I have used ............
