Pa's post of his octopus prompted me to have a look at one I have yet to print. This little devil was gliding around off one of the Fijian islands when I blinded him from up close. They are magic things to watch as they change colour & texture. Almost as good as the cuttlefish.
Jet propelled nature at work.
Underwater is worth the effort if you get the chance.

Hey, don't laugh. When I was diving full on, I had a marine aquarium as well and in that was a blueringed octopus who lived her life in a large barnacle. When she got stroppy, she flashed the most beautiful colours.

they're beautiful animals, easy to see when moving ,but stopped they change colours and blend in to the back ground.
