Well done Dan, very dramatic B&W images. Sombre and stylish :) Love the lighting in the harbour bridge shot. Details on the shot? :)
cheers

Dan very dramatic, like them all. I would suggest that on 5 you move a lityle further from the wall to reduce the shadow on the wall.

ps We have a 4 images per post rule in the FAQ, could you keep that in mind next post? Thanks

The first one has too much light for my liking (I am being very subjective) and I prefer the black and white photos. Specially the one with the hands interlocked it is more than sadness... more like dispair, or loss. They are very moody.

i like the 1st one because you exposed for the backlit model therefore blowing out the background a trick often used by many photographers
it looks very nostalgic but i think the expression counters the effect
and thats probably why it's not liked so much, this would of worked better if the expression was gentler

sombre expressions are good it's a challenging series really gets you thinking compared to the the obvious glamour shot

in terms of strling love the 2nd one and fill flash harbour shot

Your techniques are sound and your creativity comes through. Your model has too much eye makeup and it detracts from the rest of her face.

Nice series, the harbour shot is my favourite. The rest are excellent too but it is just a bit too sombre for me.

I like the 2nd pic a lot. If you can, burn the edges and the left a bit to create a bit more contrast and make the overall mood a bit darker.

Keep up the good work.
