Hmmm.

I am not too keen on the Opera House pics, i'm not sure why but perhaps it is because they are a bit cliched. Nice exposures and composition though and it looks like you have tried to do something a bit different, but of course that would be difficult with something that has 1,000,000 photos taken of it every day ;)

The 'Mushroom like building on Martin Place' is very good. The use of B&W certainly adds some much needed interest to what is otherwise and ugly building. The angle is also pleasing and different to the 'norm'.

The B&W dragon has excellent composition but i feel it's a bit flat. This could be a fantastic photo if you can get a bit more Ooomph out of it. Maybe make it stand out from the background a bit more. Perhaps cut it out and lightne it up a bit and add it as a layer on a darker background. Just an idea. :)

Good pics all round. keep it up and post some more when you get them.

Thanks.

The "lionthing" is dark. Maybe you were going for the low key look, but it still looks too dark to me.

The MLC building (mushroom thing) looks like it's losing key bits of details as the roundy thing curves to the near side (the in-between column bits at the top).

I like the low shooting position of the Opera House, and the grainy look too - deliberate or not.

The moonlit one - didn't have me convinced sorry. It still only looks like a simple exposure shift. If you pulled some details from the shadows maybe...

I would agree with the others on the dragon - just too dark and indistinct.

I like very much the shot of the Opera House ”looking West” it has some beautiful angles and to all intents and purposes looks devoid of human beings - nice one.

The mushroom - IMO needs a crop (or different angle) plus some contrast added, but again, the lines are very pleasing.
