Gee Andy, your the last person I'd expect to mention the 'F' word

Anyways...

  • Good shot of the F15 eagle - using your new VR toy?
  • The recolour Spoon car doesn't grab me - looks like a little too much bad acid :(
  • I think the taxiing F-16 is a great shot, but what happened to the nose? Was it going too fast to take the shot?
  • The P51-D Mustang is excellent (no people!) I really like the way the cockpit lines up with the horizon almost like it's another mountain
  • The first shot of Enzo is very evocative and I like the framing too, but the last one ("are you sick of Enzo") seems a little soft on the focus. Maybe some USM in PP?
  • I really like shots like Big Oak with a tree silhouetted against the sky near sunset/sunrise. I think you nailed that one
  • I've saved the best for last - Moon Over Caribbean, the hyperlink doesn't work, but from the thumbnail I have one word - awesome. I hope you've done a nice big framed print of that one

Oh, and Sam3 has some strange blue splotches on his nose & left eye in the thumbnail that aren't in the full image

Cheers

Most of these pics are actuall taken with my 70-300 G cheapo tele lens! The weather has been crap since I got the 70-200 VR, and I haven't had a chance to go out yet. Thanks for the input.

Andy - nice to see your pics up:

First shot I looked at was ”Cozumel” I like the converging angles on this shot but would have liked to see more depth in the blown whites on the ball and pedestal.

I like the F16 Falcon sit ready simply because you have offset the image and the Mustang is superb.

On the Enzo shots my favourite is Sad - thats is not the look of sad it is the look of ”if you go out without me I will tear the place apart and then hide”

And as from before - your pic titled Night Oak is amazing.

Keep ’em coming mate

Chris
