I haven't posted for a while and I am at work thinking I would rather be doing photography so I thought why not dig out some images for critical comment. The key one I would like some comment on is The Bengali Girls... Is it feasible and also do you think it is worthwhile photoshopping this to amend the background?

Anyway here are a few images.

Great shots Dargan. They really tell a story about where you were.

The background in the first one seems a bit washed out - perhaps it may look better with a crop just above the bank IMHO. The main subject looks brilliant.

The second one again IMHO I think could be cropped to remove the far bank altogether. Looks like a great shot of a fisherman contemplating his work.

Yes the third one would be fantastic if you could somehow clone out the pot and the person in the background (don't ask me how). The girls look full of personality. They are nicely captured.

Last one looks great. Lovely misty tones to the background. Has this one been cropped?

Well done. Cheers, Mick :) :) :)

I have about 13Gb of photos from this trip and no time to do much with them. This was in February this year and I agree with your comments on cropping. These were all originally Raw files so the move to jpg probably has not been expertly handled. One I did get help with was Periyar in Mist if you want to look at that in an earlier post. I have a series of them I must get to. Thanks for the comments. :)

Dargan - the last shot of the boat is superb - it has a mystery to it that is compelling :)
