Had a quick play with my new extension tubes (thanks Poon) before it got too dark this evening


50mm1.8 with extension tube, f22 1/60th SB800 of camera

OK, not the sharpest, but handheld (while also holding the SB800 with the other hand!) and crouching down in almost darkness....

Looking forward to getting out with the tripod

As you say, not the sharpest, but it's a start. You should get to really try it out on the weekend. I was looking at ordering extension tubes (ran out of time to get them for the weekend) so now I know who to ask
