Just another photo? I liked it and thought I'd post, it's been a while... been busy setting up my business :). Critiques welcome...

Thanx to Birdy too for my 2nd D70 body too, which I purchased today from him! :)

DOF seems a bit short, the bottom of the leaf is soft.

I might leaf this one alone.

So you got a second body, luxury...

Nice photo, I agree with andy re the dof, but otherwise good stuff.

Sorry for this question that has nothing to do with the picture... why would you need 2 bodies? I am just curious. I understand why you would with film.

In case one breaks down during a paid photoshoot.

- have two difference focal lenses on each body, instead of swap lens.
- can be used by the assistance to capture some missing opportunity.

My eye can't figure out where to go in this photo (lines coming both at me and away from me, and the subject is half out of focus (the front leaf). The stems and other leaves are so out of focus it feels a little chaotic. DOF is way to shallow. I think that DOF should flow out of focus more gracefully on a plant that is connected to stems that ebbs away from us. Rule of thirds would have worked well here I think.

Okay so I'm going to post one now too so be sure to be just as harsh.
