Hawestowe ParkG'day all,
Went for a morning saunter out to Hawkestowe Park, beautiful serene location with an old historic homestead... There are some great parks around, http://www.parkweb.vic.gov.au/1sitemap.cfm is a very handy site for finding some really interesting places... Anyway, tried yesterday morning, rolled up about 07:00am only to find the entrance blocked due to a hit and run, where the driver abandoned his car in the car park of the entrance to the park... Tried again this mornng, and really enjoyed the wandering around... Posted just a few (gotta get the hang of the SB800 trying to do fill-flash, haven't sussed it out yet), but just a few for either review/critique or just sticky nose Comes complete with the lazy man's pano from Autostitch (didn't want to spend the time, the cricket's on!) http://www.pixspot.com./thumbnails.php?album=117 Cheers all, Mudder Aka Andrew
Mudder - you are becoming the king of homesteads shooter - all lovely shots and the pano may be the poor mans way but it is very good - better than I can do

Hi Mudder. I didnt know that park existed. Have to see if Dysons have a bus that passes there, its not that far from me. Your pics are very good. Makes me want to go and check it out. BTW That hit and run in Plenty Rd sure made things difficult for traffic in the area yesterday. Glad to see they have found the driver though. A cyclist was hit, and it was a fatal.
Regards Meic
Geee... I heard about the cyclist... It must have happened really early in the morning... I just got back from a short ride on the treddlie myself but I'd never ride on the road in traffic, I see them every day on the way to and from work in the CBD and I always try to give them plenty of room, it'd scare me senseless...
Cheers, Mudder Aka Andrew
nice shots mudder... the panos worked quite nicely....
cheers http://www.markcrossphotography.com - A camera, glass, and some light.
