Love the bush fire ones mate.

It reminds me when I went down to syd for a doctor’s appointment a couple of years ago just after the Sydney fires.
I stayed at a relo’s place up in the Blue Mountain.
At the bottom of the range you could see were all the fires had gone though & the signs had melted just like the one in your images.
It made you sit back & think about what sort of heat those fires had produced.

Nice pics. Good documentation of the bush fires, the image tell part of a story - would like more of the story if you took more images.

And the shot of Perth is great (for me) - I've never been there and never seen the city from this perspective - looks like a beautiful place.

Graham - a very nice selection of photos.

The one that interests me is the one of the Blackboys(?) - after all of that heat they still survive. Please correct me if I am wrong about them being Blackboys.

Yes they are blackboys or if you are politically correct they are now called grasstrees.The fire dosen't kill these trees,like many natives they actually need fire to germinate and spread there spores/seeds.

I have uploaded a couple more shots one of them show that after only a few days the plants are recovering with green shoots.
