A fortnight ago I visited a friend at Erina on the NSW Central Coast. They have an award winning garden which, despite being impacted by severe water restrictions at present, yielded some impressive shots.

Also included are a few shots of Norah Head Lighthouse which I took on my way home to Newcastle.

Two sample shots below, larger version and other pics can be found here.

G'day,

Had a quick sticky through yoru gallery, there's some really nice shots in there, but I really liked your favorite... That's striking...

Stubbsy, you shoot flowers very well indeed. An more importantly, you even know some of their names. :)

Contact some of the gardening magazines and offer to sell the flower images to them. Very nicely done and professional quality.

Steve

Don't have a green thumb + do have a lousy memory. Allen always tells me the names of all the flowers I take shots of when I visit and I usually remember about 2. The one mudder posted the larger pic of is my fave and I've asked it's name twice & forgotten twice  (I think its common name is something like spider lily)

Matt. I don't consider myself good enough yet so hadn't even thought of getting money for what I shoot (eg I have to confess I took the shots with the camera set to dummy mode except for about 30 which I took with the camera in manual mode and the wrong aperture setting!).

Thanks for the compliment.
