First go at composite(?) B&W with color subject

G'day,
Just had my first go at editing a previous color shot, so a flower was color with the background in B&W... Dunno if it's come out OK though... I don't think I've given the B&W background enough contrast, I'll have another go but thought ahhh what the heck... Was very lazy too, was a bit slap-dash with the selection around the flower... Any tips???

Love it - the ruins and the flower in colour just go so well together - the old and the new

Mudder. Very effective. One suggestion - try it with the ruins sepia rather than B & W.

G'day,

Just hung a print with a black cardboard border in a frame on the wall to play... Looks OK, I'll try the sepia... Thanks for the suggestion...
