Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. The Dance of FlightTook this photo at Saringham Beach. Nice place.
Nikon D70, 80-200 f2.8.
That's an image that would be fabulous if it were made into a very, very large print. Could decorate one wall of an upmarket seafood restaurant. Not sure about the text over the image though. It's a bit distracting. You might think about shrinking it or putting a white canvas around the pic and placing the text on that.

G'day, Just thought, if you move the signature down off the print in a border area, would you re-frame or crop the new image because I'm wondering of the formation of the birds makes the signature one of the compositional elements or subjects the photo is composed of... Does that make sense to anyone else
Maybe that's why it would look so good as a large mural size print in a commercial area... Cheers, Mudder Aka Andrew
Sorry to have to say this but the wording destroys the image for me. As a graphic designer, and having a great image, the best possible way to put a name to this pic is to frame it and have the wording below the pic but within the frame.
The other recourse is to make the lettering very much smaller so that the eye does not constantly go to the wording. Chris Chris
