Chanced upon a group of parrots at Bushy Creek, Box Hill. Very difficult to capture these guys as they were very high up in the trees with lots of leaves and branches in the way. Went back again today and was disappointed to find none.

G'day,

Nice clear, sharp shot, shame about the shadow across the bird...

If you're after Rosella's etc. there's gazillions of 'em in the Sherbrooke forest, just remember to take the BLACK sun-flower seeds, they'll walk past others for the black ones, and then they'll just hang off you :-)

Cheers,
Mudder

Thanks

Hi Mudder,

Thanks for the info. I did went to Sherbooke once. My car's engine was so cooked that I had to buy a new one! Some of them would even eat directly from my palm - it is a real treat.

cheers,

Arthur
