My favourite is of course #2. It's just a pity that the background is of a table corner and some pillows....but I guess sometimes the opportunity for a nice photo doesn't always provide a great backdrop
Just to add a bit more info:
no. 1 & 2 were both taken with the SB800 (#1 pointed directly with diffuser attached - no.2 bounced off ceiling).
Raskill - you hit the nail on the head. My thought process as soon as I lifted the camera to take the photo was one of "remoteness on the beach".
I actually waited until she wasn't looking at me, as I wanted to capture the feeling of her in her own world, alone on the beach....except for the boat and people off in the distance
