Freshly taken at 9pm tonight. My first night shots with the D70. Next time i'll use the remote... it's a tad on the unsharp side, but still looks ok when it's small. Four images taken with Nikon 12-24mm on my home-made pano head.

Also took this one shortly after...much sharper.

Very nice Alistair. Was the 12-24 used at 24mm? Loved the reflections and can see by your shot your twilight suggestions for mine. Thanks

I knew I missed something... The first picture was four shots in portrait orientation at 24mm. The second was at full 12mm.

I like the angle, place you shot from. I once tied up (on a ship) at the wharf on the far right of the image.

The funny thing with the first image that that strikes me is that the buildings are a bit unsharp (as you said) , but the refelction in the water just looks great.....interesting how the motion of the water can counteract the camera...

In the second i can see where the seagulls where flying around the top of the main pylon. (I still can't understand why they built the pylons so high. It makes the bridge an ugly monstrosity. Perhaps it's a phallic response to Jeff Kennet's cheesesticks. The Vics will understand that one)
