We are keeping a watchful eye on our neighbour's cat while they are away. She's a very cute cat, named Mau. Comments and criqtiue welcomed:

i know how hard it can be to get a good exposure of a black and white cat (or at least with contrasting fur) and u have pulled it off perfectly! it is a lovely shot

Great shot Geoff, the tones within the white areas are very good - as Nathan said, photographing black and/or white cats is a tricky business and you have absolutely nailed it.

Similarly to Egyptians, I hate cats, but this is a good photo of one. :)

Like the others Geoff I'm impressed with the tonal range here. You can make out the top of her head and yet you've kept the detail in her face and the white towel. Plus she looks cute

THanks for the comments guys, I'm really not a huge cat fan but this one I have a soft spot for. No, she wasn't initially very willing but with a hug from Bel and a nice soft towel along with her purring she became more willing :)
