wonderful shot chris... great colour...
something fun to try with these flowers is the typical black & white with colour... they come up quite well even if it is very cliche....

Nice use of colour. Good angle too, right next to another flower. It enhances the main subject.
Those flowers always remind me of Ray Bradbury's, 'The Day of the Triffids'.

Ah yes, of course. i've read some of them too.
So easy to confuse him with Ray Bradbury.
Which reminds me that Ray Bradbury's book, 'The Martian Chronicles', is being made into a movie as we speak. Then again so is HG Well's classic 'War of the Worlds', being produced by Steve Spielberg i believe. Hopefully it won't be long before The Day of the Triffids is remade into a film too. It was a mini series years ago.
I hope someone remakes 'Quatermass and the Pit' soon.
