I like the last two, they are true 'kodak moments'.
A slight curve adjustment would help the dark tones lighten up a bit though, that way you would be able to see more facial features, which are essential to maintain the 'human element'.
Great pics though and i love the composition.

The first one is very 70's surfis... What you would see in Tracks Mag.

Very nice. I agree with the curves adjustment, make the froth a lovely white, and the water slightly lighter blue, and a little more on the faces. Great composition though.

Great surf shots.
What size lens did you use..??
I take a lot of surf shots with a 300mm but would love a 500mm.
Cheers

300mm, yep a 600 would be nice but we just make do, however there is a wonderful rock that juts out near the wax heads and makes for a great platform (watch out for rogue waves tho') thanks Marty, Max

Thanks Woody, only peroxide doesn't apply to someone like me who has very little hair, maybe I could peroxide my scalp? Wax? Polish?

BTW, I was speaking to a customer at work yesterday, she has a nice shiny new D70 and uses it like a simple P&S camera. I said to her, "Get on the D70 OZ site and start reading and asking questions on how to use it, you have a rolls royce camera there and need to learn how to use it!" Hopefully she took the advice and joined.

Can't argue with that...
I feel my photography has improved since finding this forum, still a long way to go though in different fields of photography.
