Just previewed the post, they all look a bit washed out compared to how they look n PS, is there some thing I need to do to the jpg to keep the contrast/colour?

Comments/advice greatfully received!

I like the reflection in the first shot, bit of a shame the railing is in the bottom of the frame though, maybe you could crop it out?

When you are saving for web in PS, you might want to check what colour profile it's using, (click the little right pointing arrow). I think it defaults to uncompensated colour, that seems to lead to a more washed out effect. Try setting it to conserve the document profile, seems to work better that way for me.

Cheers,

Jon

Love the shot of the French warship Pluvier.

For Navy buffs check out http://www.seawaves.com/navcall.htm which shows what warships are visiting different ports and sure enough the Pluvier is listed as being in Newcastle.
