I see cats like this in my nightmares - they come to life and scare the s@it out of me. Interesting shot

Rich - you have taken a shot of something unusual - as it stands your PP and the shot itself are fine.

If you shoot RAW then you have a lot of leeway to fix the pic in PP.

Another way to shoot the cat would be to take it from the other side of the railings so that your image shows a caged cat - another approach.

The shadows IMO actually add to the very angular sculpture and show its meaness

Now there's a fine example of why cats need to be shot. This one looks like it's got rabies or distemper. :)

Seriously though, it is a fine picture. I like it and the artistic use of the brick wall makes it look like an urban moggy.
