I like shooting sunsets but often fail to get foreground and sky properly exposed in a single exposure. So I tried exposing sky and foreground sep. and blending in PS. Thanks BBJ, I think I'll give up at this point. I can't for the life of me work out why the URL link is incorrect. I am a seriously dangerous person in this dept. Image making I can do but the internet stuff leaves me stone cold.

Matty, when on pixspot click on your pic so it is the larger pic,then right click and copy the url line as in this-> http://www.pixspot.com./albums/userpics ... ttempt.jpg

Then when u post in here see the img box press it once comes up with [url] then paste that addy in here, when done click the Img again and enter thats it done.

BBJ - you beat me to it!

Matty B - nice attempt but the trees do not look correctly exposed for the sky - the contrast appears to be wrong. With the setting sun in front of you the trees would look darker than what they do in your pic

I appreciate the assistance and the comments, I need both! My mate says I have a poor internet connection - speed wise it downloads at approx 1.8 Kb per sec which is apparantly awful but everything still happens too fast for me! No rock hiding, must just practice and post an image per day to get things running (in my head) smoothly!

Chris, yes, at second and more glances the foreground is a little too illuminated. I still have the RAW files for both exposures, I might have a second try at foreground lighting............

Nice attempt, I'm yet to master the blending too.

As for your URL, you need to have [URL.]http://www.asdas.com/image.jpg[/URL.] but without the .'s in the brackets. The bit you missed was the / in the end tag (means end). Your URL was also wrong in terms of where it points to, but pixspot linking is a little more complex than some others.
