I think the title says it all - comments always welcome (good and bad)

Hi Chris, I see you're still trying MattK's tip. What color were the bars? Do you think that they may have been colorised as well?

The background was very boring - very little colour so I thought that removal was the best way to go. Yes Phillip used Matt’s tip although I have done this a few times over the past 10 years. Works on some shots but you really have to pick them carefully.

The bars had very little colour.

Great interpretation, some types of fences and gates with bars can make some everyday things take on a whole new perspective huh...

Cheers,

Chris, you could colour the bars I reckon. As the title suggests the bars are integral to the image - without it, it blends too much into the background and only presents the daffodils as the main image point, which betrays your "prison break" theme... Either that, or have the shot at a smaller aperture to include the bars sufficiently sharp alongside the flower so they both stand out against the background.
