In the first shot I was not happy at all with the result - colour was wrong and the focus. I was going to trash then decided to run it through DreamSuite2 and also added a duplicate layer to bring out the eyes and the lips - pic 2. I then decided to run a black and white course image hence pic 3. The moral here is don’t throw a pic away because you might be able to do something with it.

Final image is def. the most complimentary. I also find it easiest to view and also the most artistically valid. The reasons for my choises are in part still a mystery to me. I appreciate your point Chris, have tools and skill - can fix or at least make good of. Again my learning curve becomes steeper.........

Love the dreamy quality of the middle image. It fairly glows!

Wow, you have a very creative eye Sirc, I would never have thought of the options you've tried...

I'm torn between the dreamy, soft glow of pic #2, that one I'd like to see with sharpened eyes and lips... and Pic #3.

Dunno if it's just me but the flat-top (top of here head) seems to take my attention... Maybe it's one of those new trendy hair-do's?

Wish I had the creativity of some of you guys...

Cheers,
Mudder

Mudder - believe it or not but everyone has a creative side - all you have to do is experiment - you will be surprised.

I agree with the flat head - it really annoyed me at the time that I did not look properly as I shot
