Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Straight out of the camera... no pp at all. http://www.inlinelectrical.com.au/dslrpics/flowers/img_01.jpg http://www.inlinelectrical.com.au/dslrpics/flowers/img_02.jpg http://www.inlinelectrical.com.au/dslrpics/flowers/img_03.jpg http://www.inlinelectrical.com.au/dslrpics/flowers/img_04.jpg If you’re alone with your friend in the woods and a tiger’s chasing you, you don’t have to be faster than the tiger, you have to be faster than your friend.
Here's my thoughts
No #1...too much OOF stuff in the foreground No #3...I like. Great stuff No #4... Gorgeous colours...but I would like to see the 6 dominant foreground flower heads all sharp and very distinct against the background. I like the angle that you've got on all hese shots. BTW...you can display the images in your post. I've taken the liberty of posting the second
I knew i left Canberra a few weeks too early!

All good but my pick is #4 as it offers something a bit different from the usual flower shots with great depth and use of colour. I agree with shakey - would like to see a real crisp forground flower PS I'm just jeolous I couln't get there
