Hi, and welcome.
Don't be afraid to turn the camera into a portrait orientation. I think the first image here could have benefited from doing that, as the post box is a vertical object. As there's nothing else of an real interest in that image, making the image vertical, and perhaps coming in a bit closer, might have been the way to go.
I suspect it's also truly vertical, but your image appears to not be quite straight, so you might want to adjust that be a couple of degrees in your PP.

I haven't done any PP on these as yet (photoshop scratch discs are full, so it won't even open to allow me to change what partition it uses!). Certainly will straighten it up a little. Thanks for the tips

Welcome to the forum. Sounds like you need to empty your recycle bin or do some deleting.
I really like the street-scene. It's a busy image with lots to distract the eye bu it is kind of cool. The filter flare is nice too. The third image is also appealing to me with the moon and roof of an interesting building. Thanks for sharing.
