Very nice images. I use that PP technique too because of the softness it lends to the images.
By the way, just had a look at your wedding gallery on your site and am very impressed. A modern look and feel. My girlfriend and I are getting married soon as that is the style I would like.

Hi Vince, I love the pics of the kiddies,mate you have done a good job with these there faces looks so soft and now that i have read your post i think i have tried this process once before, i found it on a site and i think i even have a copy i printed out i think. LOL
Not having a lot to do with Photoshop and what it can do i guess is a holdback on what can be achieved from looking at your pics.

Marverlous photos of some really beautiful children. I've got to take a look at your wedding gallery.

If any of you have Scott Kelby's book "the Photoshop Book for Digital Photographers" he gives this skin softening process step by step on pages 206-207 of Chapter 6 on Retouching Portraits. It's really a great book full of great PS tips.

This is a pretty easy process with stunning results. Well worth the effort. Often a good way to minimize or eliminate blemishes and skin imperfections, too.

i have all his books, introduced to members in Sydney but none of them interested, it seems to me they don't want reading in the book..
His books with all the good uses will make lot improvement in your photography skills of PP.

I second Scott Kelby's book....great reference. With most of my images I just work with different layers and also the history brush. I capture everything in colour. There is no set rule, every image is different.

They should read deifinitely this one.

It's not a bunch of paragraphs of texts. Most of the techniques are covered in 6 to 12 short steps, each step is fully illustrated and all the necessary settings are given. It's easy and you'll learn each technique in a matter of minutes. This guy is a really good teacher.

Give this one a try. I've got a copy out from the library right now.
At least open up a copy at the bookstore.
