I took this picture last Sunday at the Mt Coo-tha Botanical Gardens. What do you think, isn't a nice speciment?

Very nice. Sharp and a great out of focus background. I think the leaf (or whatever it is) in the left of the image is a bit distracting.

Back at the gardens I see Zafra... I shall have to get myself back there again soon myself I thinks..

Nice sharp pic of the dragon there btw... agree with the above comments about losing the leaf though...

I like it, the hairy eyeball effect is very cool. The background thing had me thinking mountains and dragons but maybe I have too much imagination.

Beauty of a shot Sharp, colourful, nice background.

I removed the distracting background, but I was not able to match the exact colours.

Next time get closer! Excellent shot! I would have liked more DOF but I know that it gets very difficult when you get that close.

It's inspiring me to go close to my place and try to get something as good.

Thank you for the comments, guys. Personally, I prefer the first one because it looks more natural to my eye despite the fact there is a distracting element.
