Re: Yet again, new lens images
Gary, I haven't really taken that many shots with it, but for a preliminary observation, here goes: Pros: Light and easy to carry Well constructed (but not in L class, like 17-40 for eg) Silent motor Easy manual focus if needed Colours are vibrant Minor lens distortion for a lens of this focal length Cons: Edges of image (at 10mm) are soft but that is expected from an UWA lens Relatively expensive lens compared to competition Lens hood not included in price All in all I'm very happy with the purchase. I'm off to NZ next weeks for a 5 week work stint but will have some spare days around Tekapo / Queenstown / Taranaki / Taupo to put this lens through it's paces.
