Leon,

That's a truly great capture, despite the obvious problems wuth the subject matter. TBQH, it's one of the best images of me that I've aver seen. Must be because of the mushroom factor. :)

Of course the reality behind that image is that Leon was the one trying to get a good sillhouette style of image of Pa. I was just taking an occasional snap from the other side, and playing with the lights in order to <strike>hinder</strike>help Leon get the effect he was seeking. The upshot was that we really needed a big white sheep. I mean sheet, in order to get a truly blown background. As none was readily available, we abandoned that project and retired to the Chardonnay. :)

Nice Leon, I really like this shot, capturing a well know local photographer in his natural habitat.

I love shots that shine out of the darkness. This one works brilliantly!

This is impressive! Very well done. Is that the modelling light on the flash head?

Cheers
Steffen.

I've actually fired off the lights myself - using the light sensor on them. I do like the effect that's been achieved :)

Awesome work, Leon. But more importantly, how was the coffee?

Very nice shot, Leon!

And btw because I cannot write to the "Announcements" section I will say it here.
Thank you very much for your hospitality, great coffee and framing workshop. Man, you are a legend!

And I also want to thank everyone from the MaxiMeet for a really great day.

Leon, I was impressed when I first saw this image and I am still impressed now. The more I look at it the more I like about it. The lighting is just perfect.

Next time Gary & Pa, would you kindly apply some talcum powder to those bald bonces to prevent the glare... :D

Great snap nonetheless.
