Hey guys picked up a new lens, a kenlock mc.tor 80-200mm f4.5, not the greatest of lenses but it seems fine to me especially for the price ($30 including delivery), getting used to all manual focus is difficult though.

Anyway onto the image

Whats your opinion on this image? Looks a little unfocused and unnatural to me but I'm not sure.

Hmmmm.... manual focus can be kinda hard to get the hang of ...but once you've got it you will find it easy so stick with it..

You've done well for your first time with a manual focus lens... especially since you tested it in a moving subject... next time that your shooting though perhaps keep an eye on how level you keeping the camera ..as you can see by the water here its not straight... :)

Congrats on your new lens...

As for the image - the duck looks like it is working hard to get up a hill and there is a bit of distracting ?wood at the top of the image. I think it would benefit from straightening and a bit of a crop.

More zoom may also be nice - or is this shot at 200 and then cropped? It may explain why the duck isn't so sharp.

Happy shooting!
