dooda - brrrrrrrr pic thank God I live in Aus.

But seriously this kind of shot shows what we are missing out on down under and what makes this forum so great having members O/S.

That must have been one helluva cold shot but it is great

Yeah, actually Vancouver really isn't that bad, but a couple thousand meters can change temperature in a hurry. I was very tentative about taking my camera boarding, but decided that with the LowePro I had a enough protection (and I don't usually do anything too crazy). I get a little concerned about moisture and the like though, so I don't think I'll do it too often. Thinking about getting a cheap PHD, maybe even an underwater deal.

Thanks for the compliment. And I agree, I love seeing your pics of a completly different country, trees, animals, shrubs, people. It's fun having a couple of people from BC on here.

Another reason why the web must adapt to online TV much more quickly.

Great pic.

That's awesome mate. And you can also see which way the wind was blowing in the blizzard that caused it ;)

Great pic mate. Not something I see everyday - especially here in sunny Singapore. Thanks for posting.

Great shot, nice to see that the camera can cope with those kind of temperatures.

I agree and whenever I look at it, I hate that I clipped the side of it. Oh well. I find myself rushing as I have to pull off my pack and take the camera out and make the shot and then put it all back together while the others waited with their boards strapped on, in my hurry I misframed. This was taken at the top of Peak Chair for and British Columbians or Aussies that have worked there that are in the know. I have another similar shot though, maybe I'll see if it can't be worked on.

Reminds me of Coffs Hbr in summer (seagull droppings, that is). Cool, crisp shot with wonderful blue colour.
