This is an attractive succulent my mother loves very much. To spite her I tried to make this look nasty and uninviting:



It's a PP exercise as much as anything, C&C would be much appreciated.

The shadows and the way the outer leaves curl in make it look quite carnivorous and rather creepy.
The central part however still appears to have more of the formation of a Rose, albeit with thorns.

Hey I like this one. You have captured the ugly side of it perfectly.

It's lost it's 3D-ness IMHO.
