Australian Hillclimb ChampionshipsJust a couple from Sunday. I was out at the Jamboree on Sat so missed the first day of racing and some spills it would seem
Took a new spot and different approach this time, also spotted Ghetto Panda roaming around taking shots from some great locations! (where are your photos?) I like this for the reflection in the wing mirror, oh and the lifting of the wheel! And this car was just amazing, one of the only open wheelers to lift a wheel as he was pushing very very hard and taking a slightly wider line across Lover's Leap. Ahh so many photos, so little space Some wheel lifting... One Two and Three And this guy didn't need much for a rise all 6.6L of it! C&C welcome. Sorry if they are watermarked, seems the url rewrite may be having a fit Cheers Brett Last edited by bwhinnen on Thu Nov 08, 2007 4:05 pm, edited 2 times in total.
Ahh the lovely watermark. I guess I'll have to look at the url rewrite then, damn. Mind you I don't mind them being watermarked
Thanks for the comments. Was a great day and a lot of fun
Awesome shots Brett so damn sharp i might post some pics i'm being lazy haven't really gone through them yet. Nice to meet you btw good to put a face to the user name.
Cheers! Get some of yours up Was very good to meet you as well, and even better to see another Nikon shooter out there
Lovin' 2&3, nice looking machine. And in #1 you can see the guy's face in the mirror which is cool. And finally, a very pleasing perspective you shot from.
Nikon D70

My pick is the MkII Escort 2-door. I have a bit of a soft spot for that version of the small ford, and I reckon that shot depicts what they are all about... Fast on a budget! Nice shooting!
Thanks guys. I have loaded all of them up in our Gallery if you are interested I can post the link. I do love that little track
Cheers Brett
