I think I know what you were going for, and the image has appeal. I feel it also lacking something. maybe the branch is a tad too unremarkable to make this work...?
I could definitely see a vulture sitting on the lower branch, but that would be a different picture
BTW, I like that frame you've been using lately (and I'm no big fan of frames). I that a PS thing?
