Weddings - a hard yet rewarding slog

Just completed this wedding not much PP done just tones/contrast/colour adjustment....the backlit ones were a challenge....

Wanted to keep the golden tones of the sunset here....

Colours, composition and terrific subject separation has really helped create a memorable image here Dan. I bet the couple a chuffed. :)

Thanks for the inspiration. Despite having completed dozens of weddings as videographers Kate and I have our first wedding this Sat to shoot stills and video for, so fingers crossed. We know how hard weddings can be and how rewarding.

Number 1 bothers me I would like the couple either more exposed or a silhouette it is somewhere in the middle and that is not great for me...

Number 2 is a stand out love the colours

Number 3 is good too great exposure pity about the suit flapping up.

number 2 is definitely a stand out, one of those shots you put in the memory bank to plagiarise next wedding shoot :)

Nice work Dan, #2 is my pick.
I've found this strobist blog and the preceding 3.1, 3.2 & 3.3 as great tutorials on mucking around with twilight shots. Well the whole blog is awesome, but the Strobist stuff may have given you some options.

Shots look fantastic as usual! Colours and tones look great. #2 for me as well...
