I used to grow Sarcochilus years ago. This one looks like either hartmannii or fitzgeraldii. Probably fitzgeraldii.
#1, I dont think the floor boards are the best background and it could have maybe used a slightly stronger frontal lighting to make them stand out a bit more.
#2 looks fine, but have you thought about trying one angled to show the inside paterns of the labellum

It would be a Sarc. Fitzhart - a hartmanii cross fitgeraldi hybrid.
With the first one.
The plant gets lost on the table in the first shot.
If you want to maintain your depth of field and with the with flowers and cream pot, a dark back drop would work well. Either Black or grey (surpisingly blue often looks good too).
With the second play with the light / flash and see if you can capture more of those great sparlkes that you get with the light on the flower. That really gives the sarc shot the wow factor. That is really hard to achieve without washing out the colour.
Cheers

for the second. i found shooting thru something like white baking paper, (if you don;t have umbrellas etc) brings out alot more detail in orchids. bump your flash EV's up. down dependant on the light you're getting but it should diffuse enuf to give you a softer lighting.
