Really would love some opinions on whether these tones work or not....i LOVE metallics at the moment and i am trying to get some old film like tones in my newer work, grain included

hi dan, I like the treatment, its unique, not overdone.

#3 I like a lot!

I like these as they are nice natural skin textures, not too barbie. pleasure to watch your style evolve :D

All of these are excellent. The last image has a great range of tones in it and appeals most to me in the context you have given. Are you using a film curve to achieve a common outcome or PP though photoshop individually? Were the shadows part of the look you intended? I only ask as you seem to have such good control over light in the rest of the image I assume you intended this, though I don't like the shadow cast from the leg on the last image. Thanks for sharing.

The last one is the pick here - she looks a bit like Dita Von Teese. There's something bizarre going on with the model's arm in the 3rd pic (her left, our right). Her muscles look like they have tumours - very odd shaped.

There is nothing wrong with her arms - my arms bend like that (and I know a lot of other girls whose do to) and my boyfriend mocks me all the time - but its completely normal =D I promise =D

I would have to say #3 and #4. I find #1 too robotic for my tastes (although that may be what you are going for)

Ant.

I think the last one is the pic of the bunch.. although they are all good as always... I don't mind the tones as they arent overdone.. :)
