I'd be tempted to crop a little off the LHS to lose that out-of-focus distraction in front of the subject.

This was just a quick irfan treatment. I'll have a look at some of other captures and see what I can do. As to what it is I am not sure. It could be a young rat so my reference to Beatrix was a bit tongue in cheek
