Birds from Aireys Inlet

I took these shots down at the family holiday home at Aireys Inlet on the weekend; i have uploaded them right out of the camera! so no editing other than the resize photobucket do.

Some nice potential there I think with a little PP they could be better.

Is that a gang gang cockatoo... (having a mental blank at the moment... shut it you lot not a word... *grin)... the third one is my pic as the bird is lovely and sharp.... it could do with a slight crop though... :)

You are correct it is a male Gang gang cockatoo and I think the 3rd pic is one I did manually focus after I was not 100% happy with the auto focus as for cropping it I was in a rush to put a few pictures up so as I said no work done yet, I will go back and crop it a tad though thanks for the feedback so far as I am still sort of playing with a new toy and now starting to try take it a little bit more serious in what I take :D

Ah see.. that will learn me to make sure I actually read peoples posts before I go and look at the pretty pictures...

Manual focus seems to have worked well for you there.. that shot seems sharper than the others... :)
