Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent. Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread. Please also ensure that you have a meaningful location included in your profile. Please refer to the FAQ for details of what "meaningful" is.

DIFFERENTAnd now for something completely different.
Well for me it is. I had not been getting the camera out much, and so pushed myself to take some shots of everyday items. When I looked at the shots I had taken they were very boring! To say the least. So anyway I started to play with them in Lightroom and these are the end results. So come on be brutally honest and please tell me what you really think. No1. No.2 No.3 No.4 Mal
I've got a camera, it's black. I've got some lens, they are black as well.
Not much of a critique, but I like them.
My only suggestion would be a bit of curves adjustment in the last to make it more contrasty, by a bit. Regards, Patrick
Two or three lights, any lens on a light-tight box are sufficient for the realisation of the most convincing image. Man Ray 1935. Our mug is smug
Love the first one. Great treatment and the humour value is priceless
Hassy, Leica, Nikon, iPhone
Come follow the rabbit hole...
Lmao at the first one Mal... very well seen... P'ping is fab on that one too... *nods*
I also liked the last two... the apple core I think could be enhanced with something in photoshop maybe though... cause its certainly got potential... The last thing I want to do is hurt you... but it's still on the list...
