Hey all, thanks for the replies. Sorry i'm slack in my reply! Had blissfull weekend without touching a computer!
Glen - i think i went ISO 800 because taht was the minimum ISO the camera would meter in. It was an awesome burning sky type sunset but i was late to get down to the lake. I chucked it on the tripod and set up a quick shot so i'd go home with something at least.! Then i set it back to 200 and played around with really long exposures using the histogram as a guide.
KillaK - burnt out buildings are one of my favourite screw ups. Most of the rest of my shots that night suffered from it a bit. Annoying stuff!!
sirhcc, christiand - cheers guys! I do want to go back down and get some more next time there's a good sunset. Stuff around the lake is so photogenic it makes life easier on me!
Matt - oops, never noticed that before, now I can't stop looking at it!
PS time methinks! I usually shoot wide open so that may hide it. CCD cleaning meeting sounds like a top plan. I do use the camera in a lot of dusty places...
As for the printer, dunno. Might run down to Teds for a $2 8x12 and check it out!!
