Anakatosaria : busHello,
a new "anakatosaria series" project. any comments are always appreciated. thank you, theodoros
Love the first three - your artistic style is fantastic. One thing for #3 though, tune (no pun intended) down the saturation of the trumpets as it's overpowering the rest of the image.
Hassy, Leica, Nikon, iPhone
Come follow the rabbit hole...
I quite liked the over the top gold.
Last photo the shoes in the foreground is a little offputting for me, the others are all fantastic.
Great series.
I agree that the foreground shoes in the last shot are not in keeping with the theme. TFF (Trevor)

Theo - you never cease to amaze me with your superlative style. In the last shot cropping to just above the foreground legs turns this shot into a keeper

many thanks for your comments and your great suggestions always.
As for the black markings : The mark in the face is a tradition sign of the participants of the team that i shoot for. They call this foumo (something like coaldust) and at the 4 days that Anakatosaria takes place, all the city "wears" foumo. Nikon 17-35mm f2.8 on these. What a great lens... The only nikon lenses that i have/use are the 17-35mm f2.8 and the 85mm 1.4d. (i have the 50mm f1.4 and 85mm f1.4 zeiss zf too, but i rarely use them on photography - just cinematography - due to manual focus). I think that they are cover everything that i want to shoot. If only my camera was ff and 85mm was 85mm.... i would be a happy man .
Wow. I really love this unique style of shot. It has a particular upbeat (no pun intended) kind of feel to it. Well done.
A great feel to these pics Theo.
#1 for me gets me into the feel of 'follow us on our journey' ..not quite a National Lampoon movie but the promise of some fun and frivolity! As always a pleasure to view & CC you pics. cheers R2
